This hood is not a copy of anything being offered by anyone. You do not simply block sand, prime, and then paint fiberglass.

Less to a business than to a residence. There are 7 openings on each side that will allow hot engine air to easily escape.

Although this is an all fiberglass hood it is metal reinforced at all mounting locations. It requires more prep work to make it look as good as a steel part. It also attaches with all stock fasteners and is reinforced at all mounting locations.

This also enhances the car's muscle car image. The louvers in the hood are open and therefore functional.

We did not open the very rear simulated vents as they were not open on the original 1968 Shelby's. It has been drilled and tapped for stock fasteners.

This is an all new fiberglass body kit being offered by k. Your installer can choose the location to mount the studs that enables them to perfectly with the trunk lid on your specific car.

All fiberglass hoods should use either lightweight hood hinge springs or a prop rod.. Please bear in mind that all fiberglass requires prep work before painting.

Auto Group for any 1967 or 1968 Mustang fastback. When you first receive your fiberglass kit it is not a good idea to lay things on it or to allow it to stand on edge for long periods. This new hood is dimensional the same as your original steel hood.

Dimensional it will fit if original steel parts fit your car. In addition some cars have had quarter panels replaced over the years. The hood mounts exactly like a steel hood and uses stock fasteners.

Either lay it flat or better yet, install it on your car for storage. This over all front and rear design was done purposely to create more clearance on the underside allowing for the high rise intake manifolds many of you install today.

The front valance is a direct bolt on using stock hardware. The quarter panel end caps come with mounting studs but they are not attached.

Some owners have actually molded the scoops into the body for even cleaner installation.
