As you can see in the pictures it will also need a gasket this one is quite dried out and brittle. In my opinion this is a driver quality gas cap. It is original equipment and not a remanufactured or aftermarket gas cap. Up for sale is a Ford Mustang gas cap.

Now I know it also fits 72 and 73 but don't if is correct for those years. Shipping is included with the purchase price. Nothing horrible but again driver quality.

I had a 71 and recall this being the same one for that year. If you're looking to go pebble beach this one is not without its imperfections. Also a light wire brushing to the back couldn't hurt. As you can see in the pictures its stamped Motorcraft.
